Hi Quilters!

I'm back!!! And this time, my daughter,  Abbey Shane, is with me.  It's been almost 13 very long years, and I hope it is worth the wait for you!  It is so wonderful having a shop again, and designing it from the floor up.

I took a risk and established Bay Quilts in an Industrial Complex  in Richmond that is less than 1/4 mile from I-80 and I-580 and it has an Italian Bakery on the premises to die for!  And there are three parking lots!  Our shop is cutting edge-from the rafters to the natural light to the fabric we present.

We have monthly exhibitions in the Gallery and are booked out through most of 2018.  Our artist receptions are the first Sunday of every month from 1-4pm.  Refreshments are served.  We have some amazing shows coming up.  Our first is already in full swing which is a Tribute To Deanna Davis, who was very involved with East Bay Heritage Quilters for many, many years.  She also put the bug in my head to start another shop!

We have over 3200 square feet of sales space.  Our focus is on quilting, but have purchased fabrics for dressmaking as well as interiors.  We have specialty fabrics, yarns, and ribbons.  We have hand-dyed cotton by The Dye Smith, hand-dyed silks from Hand-Dyed Fabrics, Skydyes fabrics, hand-dyed wool and ribbon from Vicki Day Designs, custom fabrics by Lonni Rossi, Guatamalan fabrics from Azure Blue Textiles and Japanese fabrics from Kasuri  Dyeworks.  We have the complete line of Kaufman Kona solids, and tons of shot cottons and chambrays in several different weights.  We have linen, bamboo, double gauze, organic,  cuddle, silk dupioni, knits, canvas, and linen.

We have a wall of quilts from baby size to king size, and art quilts for sale.  We have cloth doll figures for sale.  We have a lounge area complete with coffee and tea service for your convenience.

Upstairs is our soon to be 900 square foot work space where we will have classes starting in January.  We also allow small quilt groups to occupy the area for their personal use.  We invite Quilt Guilds to round up members from their guild and schedule a private shopping spree off hours.

We are here for you 7 days a week.  Please come by and check us out!
