Special Event:  Book Signing April 23rd, 2-4pm.

"Remembering Life At Home Collected Works from the WWII Home Front Quilt Project"

This book is a collection of quilts that was first exhibited at Voices In Cloth 2014, an East Bay Heritage Quilt Guild Association Quilt Show at the Craneway Pavilion in Richmond, CA.  It had such overwhelming interest that the show traveled to several venues around the country for two years.  The quilts are home now and this book has been produced and will be available for sale on April 23rd here.  There will be a "Show and Tell" of some of the quilts, and most artists will be available to sign your copy.

The book price is $20 and all proceeds go to support the works and programs of the non-profit Rosie The Riveter Trust.

Cara Gulati Teacher of the Month

Cara Gulati is an amazing artist and our current exhibitor.  She has designed and developed many unique and dynamic quilt patterns that she sells through her company "DoodlePress.com" and other distributors around the country. She also travels the world teaching her designs.  We are so lucky to have her living in our area.  She is teaching "X Marks The Spot" in our shop on Saturday, April 29th from 10am-4pm.  The fee is only $45. Don't forget to mark your calendars and sign up for this magnificent teacher.
